Known as the King of the Fjords, Sognefjord is not only the longest ice-free fjord globally but also reaches depths of 1300 meters (4265 ft), boasting exceptional natural beauty with towering mountains, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque forests. Here, we have the option to enjoy lunch, explore the Railway Museum, or wander around the bustling harbor. Our journey continues aboard the Flåm Railway, one of the steepest railways globally. The 20-km train ride from Flåm to Myrdal offers panoramic views of Norway's rugged mountain landscapes, including the iconic Kjosfossen waterfall. The train journey lasts about an hour. At Myrdal station, we transfer to the Bergen Line, which returns us to Bergen.
